John Tank Celebrates 75 Years with a Birthday Jazz Jam"

John Tank a New York based musician who hails from Kitchener assembles veterans of the jazz scene for his 75th birthday celebration.  On tenor saxophone & flute is John Tank himself, trumpet & flugelhorn the sizzling Kevin Turcotte, tinkling the ivories on piano is none other than Bernie Senensky, plucking the string bass is Jim Vivian and finally hittin' the skins is Ted “Angus” Warren. Playing classics such as “My Romance” - Richard Rogers, “O Grande Amor” - Antonio Carlos Jobim, “Theme For Maxine” - Woody Shaw, “Dolphin Dance” - Herbie Hancock, “Peace” - Horace Silver as well as a number of his own originals, John delights the ear.
