Grand Music LIVE is a music concert webcast series streamed live and on-demand from the Waterloo Region. In the same spirit as "Austin City Limits" and "Live at Massey Hall", our goal is to bring you diverse local talent performing from the region's favourite concert venues featuring the best local talent Waterloo Region / Southern Ontario has to offer.


The Waterloo Chamber Players delight the senses!

This small orchestra is composed of skilled amateur and semi-professional musicians who have been playing and performing together since 1994. Their eclectic repertoire will keep you entertained and enlightened.

Shy Harry aren't shy on talent!

Front man Eric Bolton, a force in the local indie music scene leads this rock-groove trio of talented musicians on a journey of foot stomping songs that focus on raw instrumentation and little to no effects.  They play a number of tracks from their 2018 album Yestermind.

The Sultans of String are on a "Christmas Caravan"

3 time JUNO Award nominees and Billboard charting band The Sultans of String are a Toronto based world music group that perform energetic, genre-hopping musical styles of Celtic reels, flamenco, gypsy-jazz, Arabic, Cuban and South Asian rhythms.  This concert captures the first part of a performance of their world music infused Christmas album "Christmas Caravan".

Joni NehRita is a Class Act!

Toronto-born Jamaican-Canadian singer/songwriter/musician Joni NehRita has become a staple on the regional scene of KW/Guelph since relocating there a decade ago. She is known for steadily releasing great music & being an engaging performer. While her musical tastes are eclectic, she is best known as a soul/R&B artist and as a jazz vocalist.

Michael Kelly Cavan is a rare gem

Michael finds inspiration in his immigrant family experience as well as his life growing up in Northern Ontario.  He writes in the Irish and Canadian folk music traditions. His lyrics evoke clearly defined imagery and his melodic tenor voice sounds reminiscent of country artist John Denver.  He has graced the stages of Massey Hall, the El Mocambo, the Horseshoe Tavern, Hugh's Room and various other venues far and wide.  Taped March 9, 2017 at the Registry Theatre.

John Tank's All Star Jazz Quintet | Three and One - Thad Jones

KW’s illustrious tenor sax man John Tank returned from New York to mark The Registry Theatre’s 15th anniversary season. John turned the spotlight on the great composers of jazz, including Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Charlie Haden, and more. Once again, John brought with him Canada’s very best jazz musicians, Don Thompson piano, Dave Young bass, Terry Clarke drums, and trumpeter Kevin Turcotte whose playing can be heard in the new Chet Baker movie, Born To Be Blue. Plus special guest cellist Ben Bolt-Martin.

Kevin Ramessar - Live at the Registry Theatre | Harvest Moon

On February 10, 2012, Kevin Ramessar performed with his band at the Registry Theatre in Kitchener, featuring a tribute to Neil Young's 1972 "Harvest" album. Joining him were Mike Janzen, piano, Mark MacIntyre, bass and Giampaolo Scattozzam, drums. It was a special evening, and Kevin's inspired interpretations of Neil's classic songs were well received!
